Oro is an adorable and totally crazy old guy, who built a machine to foresee volcanic eruptions. When Tio is okay again, he starts to attend Oro's school. Cree and his friend Peek decide the best idea is to push him off a cliff, which gets him a concussion-causing Tio's father to ban him from seeing Cree again. Tio tries to convince Cree to teach him how to fly. Plus, he enters Tio into old Oro's school. The pterodactyl Cree starts to play with Tio every day, and Tio's father orders him not to see Cree anymore. When the egg finally hatches, a dinosaur comes out, and they decide to call him "Tio". In January of 2021, Amelia Tait wrote an article for The Guardian about "mockbusters." In the article, she has interviews with the founders of animated studios Vídeo Brinquedo and Spark Plug Entertainment, and mentions trying to contact staff for an interview regarding the company. The video has 82,252,622 views and 1 million likes as of February 10th, 2021. The edit was uploaded under the title of "Yee", and was eventually added to the infamous "important videos" playlist. Two years later, the YouTuber "revergo" uploaded an edited version of the clip, with Peek's voice being edited to sing along to the Bluevalley Filmmusik song "Hallo + Guten Morgen," composed by Martin Rennicke. The clip was originally uploaded by the YouTuber "Celyciah" on June 6th, 2010 under the title of "Dinosauri antropomorfi con voci ambigue". The company has gained infamy in recent years, with both its output in general and specifically a clip from the Italian dub of Abenteuer im Land der Dinosaurier in which Oro, the teacher dinosaur, scolds Peek for mocking Tio, the protagonist, for his parents having a new baby whilst he was gone. Their works have been criticized for the English dubs of their productions, which usually only consist of a handful of people, or even one person, voicing the characters, as well as its low-budget and amateurish animation, and most of the company's output mostly consisting of "mockbusters" films that are specifically designed to capitalise on a popular film. The dubs are done in collaboration with a company known as World Wide Voices. They also claim to produce animated movies and audio dubs for businesses by commission. In 1996 they changed their name to Dingo Productions and again that year to Dingo Pictures.Īccording to the Dingo Pictures website, they create songs, animated mascots, and advertisements for businesses in cooperation with a company only known as "FERRI". In 19 they also worked on semi-animated films told in the style of a storybook. Their first works were Perseus and Aladin. The company was founded in 1992 as Media Concept. However, they have not produced any more cartoons since the mid 2000s, largely because the rise of computer animated cartoons. The company and their website still exist, and they license out cartoons to companies wishing to release them. The foreign language dubs of the cartoons have also gained popularity, with Italian and Scandinavian language versions also gaining cult status amongst people from those countries.
